How long before I see benefits from hormone replacement therapy?
Every woman is different but estrogen and progesterone replacement changes can be seen in as little as 1-7 days. Testosterone usually takes longer at about 4 weeks.
How much does Hormone Replacement Therapy cost?
Our continued care HRT program is $50 per month. This includes your prescriptions, follow-up visits with licensed clinicians, as-needed hormone labs, and 1:1 service with your health coach. You may also choose to have your estrogen and progesterone prescriptions written to your local pharmacy so you can use insurance. This fee is $35 per prescription, written for a 3 month supply.
What are bio-identical hormones derived from?
Estrogen is derived from soy, Progesterone can be from soy or yams and Testosterone is from yams.
I have labs from another clinic, may I use them?

If you are not currently on hormone support but ARE interested in HRT - we will accept sufficient labs done within 90-days.

How is hormone replacement therapy administered?
We will customize a plan to best fit your individual needs. Progesterone comes as a cream, troche or injectable. Estrogen comes in a cream or troche. Testosterone comes in a cream, troche, or capsule. Joi can mix all three hormones into one cream.

How long until I receive my prescription?
Typically, you should receive your medication within 10-14 business days.
I’m currently getting treatment from another provider/clinic. Do you price match?
Our pricing is very competitive and includes provider visits, laboratory panels, supplies, education, medications, and convenient telehealth visits to ensure optimal treatment. If you would like to review pricing prior to scheduling, we can connect you with our Patient Liaison to discuss.
Can my significant other come to the appointment?
Yes, we absolutely encourage your significant other to attend your appointments.
Do you take insurance?
We accept major insurance plans, but only for certain products for qualified patients. For everything else, we do accept credit card and HSA accounts.
What if I submit my Joi treatments to my insurance?
Our regular invoice does not provide enough detail to submit to insurance. If you submit a request and give us enough notice, we can provide the documentation required for insurance.
Do you treat patients that are transitioning genders?
We do not. An endocrinologist is more specialized in this treatment.
From what pharmacy can you expect to receive your prescription drugs?
You can expect to receive your prescription drugs from one of our partner pharmacies. Currently, we have partnered with Strive Pharmacy to dispense your prescription drugs to your door.
Where is Strive Pharmacy located?
Strive Pharmacy owns and operates 6 pharmacy locations in the U.S. and, depending on your location and prescription drug needs, your drugs may come from one of these locations.
